Thanksgiving Day is traditionally day for families and friends to get together for a special meal. The meal often includes a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cramberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin pie, and vegetables. Thanksgiving Day is a time for many people to give thanks for what they have.
Thanksgiving Day parades are held in some cities and towns. Some people have a four-day weekend so it is a popular time for trips and to visit family and Friends. Third graders wrote greeting cards as a way to be thankful for many things. Students enjoyed of this activity because they sent cards to each other. It was fun to guess who wrote the greeting card.
We want to create a blog as a tool to develop our creativity. We will post our works, pictures and thoughts during this school year.
